Boatlabs AS is seeking a reliable and engaged Administration Manager / Back Office Coordinator with accounting expertise to strengthen our organization. We are looking for a responsible colleague with an interest in administrative work and experience in invoicing, accounting, and finance.

Our client base includes Norwegian and international shipping companies, shipyards, oil companies, offshore operators, and equipment suppliers. We operate globally, with extensive travel activity and international collaborations. Our headquarters are centrally located in modern offices in Ålesund, Norway.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
We are looking for a proactive, engaged, and self-driven colleague with a background and interest in administrative work. You should be positive, service-minded, and a strong team player. The ability to handle varied tasks efficiently is key.
Strong communication skills in both written and spoken Norwegian and English
Formal qualifications and/or relevant work experience in accounting
Industrial or maritime experience is an advantage
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and PowerOffice
About the Position
The role involves close collaboration with company management and various support functions related to operations and administration. You will handle a variety of tasks, including:
Registration, invoicing, and project follow-up
Preparation and collection of quotations
Maintenance of information in management systems
Writing reports and meeting minutes
Participation in project and client meetings
The position also includes general company tasks related to invoicing, accounting, and finance, as well as HR-related tasks such as travel expense reports, payroll, taxes, leave applications, and sick leave documentation. You will work both independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
